"My collection is loosely based on the Tim Burton version of Alice in Wonderland. I have become so fascinated by the whimsical colors in the movie as well as the transitional changes that Alice encounters throughout her journey in Wonderland. If I get to showcase my collection, you will see quite a few design changes during its time on the runway.

"The inspiration behind the collection Violence for Peace started with understanding how war is always a means to gain Peace within a Nation or among many Nations. The inspiration that is hoped to be invoked from this collection would be one of empathy and understanding how aspects of war collectively don't necessarily obtain peace but only induce more war and complications between Nations.

"I was inspired by Oleg Oprisco's surrealist photography. I wanted to take his subjects and bring them to life. He displays these extraordinary females in settings that best showcased their talents. It led me to the idea of how as a child our imagination ran wild. As we grow older that state of mind becomes more rigid. So touching upon our childhood mentality I will show garments that reflects how we truly can be anything we want to be.

"This Collection is about the inner rebel waiting to be expressed. When her path has suddenly been altered, she suddenly sees no boundaries, every line ever drawn for her is now blurred and she is forced to take the road less traveled."

"The idea behind my collection is a very sculptural, clean cut, and avant garde men's line."

"My collection has a lingerie style influence and is inspired by the precious stone, amethyst. The meaning of amethyst comes from "not intoxicated" and is the stone of St. Valentine and faithful love. Amethyst also is known to carry the energy of fire and passion. My collection represents the eruption of love and passion yet the ability to stay grounded in thought. With time, like amethyst, love becomes stronger and more beautiful.

"My collection is inspired by the goddess of beauty, Aphrodite. Her life was full of passion and love and it has been an inspiration to me in order to show her life through a collection that exemplifies different events that occurred to her.

"During my summer abroad in Florence, Italy, I saw several walls where the paint and plaster had begun to peel away. The old brick showing through reminded me of the history that those buildings stood for and this made me think about the generations before mine. With the collection I intend to make I will represent how we learn from the generations before us and pass the knowledge down to the generations after."
